The collaboration between Nike and Virgil Abloh, which was first established in 2017 has apparently been quite fruitful. Both ended up setting a great example for their competitors. Now, they are ready for their next big project, dubbed as “The 50”.

Simply put, “The 50” is a pack of 50 unique designs of the popular Nike Dunk Low. Teasers of some specific pairs have been circulating the internet for quite some time. However, nobody had a full peek at the collection until now.

Among the 50 unique styles, 48 feature a grey and white upper. With that, the design motifs from Virgil Abloh are also clearly visible throughout the selection. But if you are wondering, the biggest difference between each style is the combination of leather materials, canvas, and suede.

Another notable edition is a piece of marbled rubber on the lateral midsole of the Off-White Dunks. This simply reflects its presence in “The 50”. Along with that, each pair would also feature a swoosh-equipped insole.

However, the first and the last pair from the 50 sneakers do not follow the style script set by the other 48 pairs. Among these, the first pair features a metallic silver swoosh along with an upper that is all-white and the midsole would remind one of the AF100 Nike Air Force 1 x Off-White pair.

The last pair features a mix of metallic silver and black shades with some purple accents. This is reminiscent of the “MoMA” Nike Air Force 1 x Off-White pair from 2018.

Currently, Virgil Abloh and Nike representatives have not given a release date for the 50 pairs. However, reports say that these Nike and Virgil Abloh collaboration pairs will be available soon throughout the world. Consumers will be able to buy the pairs via select outlets in various regions and the official Nike website.
