You Season 3: The New Trailer Teases Joe’s Dangerous New Obsession

The third season of the Netflix thriller looks more wild than ever

Netflix just released the season 3 trailer of You, in which we see Love and Joe bringing their new child into the world. As a result of this, all the creepy talking comes to a halt for a while. However, Joe (Penn Badgley) gets back to his old behaviour.

This time in You, it looks like Joe is going to become obsessed with Natalie, his new neighbour. And just as expected, the season 3 trailer gives us a glimpse of Joe disposing of a body.

The previous season ended with Forty, Love’s brother figuring out the identity of Joe. On top of that, he also finds out about his heinous crimes. Eventually, Forty gets on Joe’s tail. However, just before Forty could kill Joe, a cop shoots Forty resulting in his death.

So, once again, Joe has removed an obstacle out of his way. Hence, he’s all set for season 3 again. Fans all over the internet, especially on social media, have been quite excited about what course the psychopath’s story will take in the You from here.

For instance, one user stated, “I got goosebumps we got OBX MH & YOU let’s go MZB.” While another one said, “I’ve been waiting for so long if u don’t give Ellie screen time and a good storyline, I will Fr be mad.”

Season 3 would have come long ago. However, it was delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Yet, the buzz around the new season did not stop. Now that the trailer is finally here, the excitement has reached new levels.

The show’s co-creator, Sera Gamble suggested that a lot more must come to “You.” For starters, the mystery neighbour that we at the end of the last season sets up a whole new storyline for season 3.

Regarding the mystery neighbour set to come in Season 3, Gamble stated, “It’s pretty obvious when we were filming this that we were careful not to show too much of her because that role hasn’t technically been cast yet. But there are lots to come with that neighbour.”
