THE MOST POWERFUL MODEL IN LAMBORGHINI’S LINE GETS A 819 HP ROADSTER VERSION

The car lovers were recently delighted at the unveiling of Lamborghini Sian Roadster that comes with 10 times more energy and is worth pining for. The name of the car is Bolognese, which translates to lighting. One thing that makes the car extraordinary is the supercapacitor that is responsible for 10 times more energy storage as compared to a standard lithium-ion battery.

 

The Lamborghini Sian Roadster makes 819 hp and has 785 hp V-12, just like Lamborghini Aventador SVJ. It also has 34 hp and a 48-volt motor that is located at the gearbox. The supercapacitor in the car is the main highlight as it not only gives 10 times more energy but is also very lightweight.

Talking about the Lamborghini Sian Roadster Automobili Lamborghini’s CEO, Stefano Domenicali, said this in an official statement, “The Sian’s innovative hybrid power train heralds the direction for Lamborghini super sports cars. And the open-top Sian Roadster affirms a desire for the ultimate lifestyle Lamborghini as we move towards a tomorrow demanding electrification.”

 

The Lamborghini Sian Roadster has a top speed of over 217 mph and an impressive rate of acceleration that goes from 0 to 62 mph in less than 2.9 seconds. The regenerative braking system can completely recharge the energy supply when speed needs to be abated. At 80.7 mph, the electric motor would disengage automatically.

Aesthetically, the Lamborghini Sian Roadster might make you think of the famous Lamborghini Countach LP400 that was drawn by Marcello Gandini. Only 19 pieces of this car have been made, and they were all sold before the beauty was even launched.

The price of Lamborghini Sian Roadster has not been revealed yet. However, the Sian coupe it’s inspired by cost around AUD 5 million. It was launched in September last year and had just 63 pieces. So, it won’t be wrong to assume that the price of the Lamborghini Sian Roadster will be more than AUD 5 million. We have no choice but to wait for the official announcement on the price. Till then, all we can do is speculate.
