THE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED 2021 MERCEDES-AMG GT BLACK SERIES IS REVEALED

Mercedes AMG has recently launched a video to unveil one of the most anticipated cars, Mercedes-AMG GT. The video was shared via an official YouTube video, and a glimpse of the gorgeous vehicle has many of the car fans drooling. Here’s what’s so special about the car.

 

The Black Series nameplate has only been applied to the most special, limited-edition AMG models since  2006.

The 2021 Mercedes-AMG GT has a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 that produces 537kW/800Nm and utilises a lighter flat-plane crank, propelling the GT Black Series from zero to 100km/h in just 3.2 seconds – that’s 0.4 seconds less the AMG GT R, thanks to the extra 107kW/100Nm.

The flat-plane crank V8 engines creating a distinctive noise due to a changed firing order. They are most often associated with Ferrari models but they have been utilised also by Lotus,  Porsche, and Ford in the Mustang Shelby GT350 (US). 

 

The clip of the Mercedes-AMG GT has no details of the car; it has allowed people to see what the new vehicle would look like. The car looks sportier than the car it is based on and the other performance variants, GT R and GT R Plus. One major thing one can easily spot is that the grille is lower and larger. Even the hood of the car has a middle air scoop and vents that look more prominent.

 

One more prominent and visible feature of the Mercedes-AMG GT is that the side louvers are deeper than they ever have been in the past. The back of the vehicle is as enticing as the front. It boasts of a new diffuser, extra-wide fenders, quad-tip exhaust, and a giant wing that will remind car enthusiasts of GT3 race cars. The car also has a two-tone paint job, which enhances its beauty.

More details of Mercedes-AMG GT will be revealed in the next few weeks. But there is no doubt about the fact that the car would be quite expensive. It would also be launched a few months after the launch of 2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class that’s expected to happen in September this year.
