HAS KANYE WEST DROPPED OUT OF THE US PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION RACE?

As per a presidential poll on Tuesday, the rapper earned just 2% votes

Kanye West, the popular rapper has reportedly dropped out of the US Presidential Election Race. It is yet to be confirmed whether he has dropped out or not, but the reason for backing out seems pretty obvious. He wasn’t getting huge numbers of votes or support from the masses that he probably expected.

 

Steve Kramer, who is a member of Kanye West’s Campaign Team, reportedly said that the rapper is out of the 2020 race, and he will confirm it once he gets done with the cancellation of stuff that was planned.

 

Things seem dicey after a while because soon after Kramer’s statement, Kanye West posted a video on Twitter that showed him registering to vote in Wyoming. In the video, he says, “I want to show you how I just registered to vote.” He captioned the video with this- “I thank God, and I am so humbled at the opportunity to serve.”

 

Kanye West announced that he was in the US Presidential Election race on July 4. As he has always supported Trump in the past, he also indicated that he is no longer a supporter of the current US President. He said in an interview, “I am taking the red hat off.”

 

He announced his intention of running for the US Presidential Election Race via a Tweet. He wrote, “We must now realise the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision, and building our future. “I am running for president of the United States! #2020 VISION.”

 

If Kanye West has actually pulled out of the US Presidential Elections Race, it is likely that 180 staff members who were working for his campaign would be laid off. The reason for Kanye West’s sudden backout is quite obvious as well. As per a presidential poll on Tuesday, the rapper earned just 2% votes of the public while Joe Biden got 48%, and Donald Trump earned 39%. The poll was conducted by Redfield & Wilton Strategies, and it had more than 2000 respondents.
