Harry Styles Reportedly Joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Eros
As revealed on social media following Monday’s world premiere of Eternals, the actor has been added to the MCU in an interesting role.
At this point, nobody knows the course of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After all, the possibilities are endless. Though, it looks like Marvel Studios is interested in taking Harry Styles, the former One Direction member, onboard based on a new Eternals’ premiere report.
Harry Styles as Eros
Reports suggest that Harry Styles just made an appearance in the after-credits scenes of the Eternals. Earlier, he starred alongside Barry Keoghan, the Eternals actor in Dunkirk. Furthermore, he has also starred in Don’t Worry Darling by Olivia Wilde.

Now, he’s all set to become Eros, the hot brother of Thanos, who is also an Eternal. Just like Thanos, Eros also belongs to Titan and carries great strength. However, he also carries the power to play with others’ emotions and to manipulate them although, he does not altruistically use the power. Instead, Eros is a horndog. Sometimes, Eros also plays the role of a cosmic superhero under the name Starfox whenever there is an involvement of his evil brother.
Currently, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has not given out any details of when Harry Styles will get the first proper role in the Eternals. For now, the information that we have is limited to the after-credits scene after the Eternals’ premiere.
Fans have started coming up with theories and educated guesses about the appearance of Harry Styles already. For instance, some say that we might get to see Harry Styles as Eros in the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. However, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is known for its secrecy. So, anything can be expected.
The movie revolves around a race of immortal aliens who ruled the Earth 7000 years ago. Their goal was to keep the planet safe from Deviants, a race of ancient evil monsters. The team consists of Sersi, Ikaris, Kingo, Sprite, Phastos, Makkari, Druig, Gilgamesh, Ajak, and Thena.
Overall, Eternals has reportedly received a great response from the critics. So, the future of the new franchise seems good. Based on that, fans can expect Harry Styles to appear in any of the future films or crossovers, especially in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
Really enjoyed #Eternals So much is set up in the film and the two post-credits scenes are 🔥🔥🔥 But can I get a #DisneyPlus TV series that’s just #BrianTyreeHenry giving Life Lessons with Phastos, please? Thank you! pic.twitter.com/q4yqWMBC2d

#Eternals is a stunningly gorgeous movie that further cements #ChloeZhao as a visually enthralling filmmaker.
BUT there’s a coldness or distance here with a lack of organic chemistry between these characters as a team that left me unmoved by it all.
Seeing it again tomorrow… pic.twitter.com/GtT4wUcnr3

I fell in love with #Eternals tonight.
It's a beautiful translation of the original Jack Kirby comic concepts and it lets us sit with characters and their emotions maybe more than any other MCU film.
It's truly epic. It's really gorgeous. Its trailers haven't done it justice. pic.twitter.com/OpyXaBM6sa

#Eternals breaks new ground for the MCU and not in all the ways you’re expecting. Alternating between beautiful and baffling, epic and intimate, it’s a movie of huge ideas, where the sentiment often matters more than anything going on in the story. I can’t wait to see it again.🪐 pic.twitter.com/KE6oHlU8xI

#Eternals is the most different entry in the MCU filmography. The film focuses more on relationships between the characters rather than action scenes which is refreshing. Chloe Zhao’s vision and style really comes through.
