Apple

According to reportsApple could be preparing to unveil a budget wearable watch, the Apple Watch SE.

The potential budget Apple Watch SE would feature lower-end parts but maintains the familiar wearable design and still utilise the same watchOS experience. Basically, it seems that the Apple Watch SE would replace the Series 3 watch that is currently on the market despite Apple already released its Series 5 model.

The reports also note that the Apple Watch SE design should follow the look of the Series 3 but will have an S6 processor (it ‘s the same processor used on the unreleased Apple Watch Series 6), a storage capacity of 16 GB, feature Bluetooth 5.0 and will have a cellular version option. Premium application features will not be in the Apple Watch SE like the ECG tracking and always-on display features, and also the watch will only be offered at a 42mm size as those features and the smaller watch size are reserved for higher models.

According to the report, the Apple Watch SE is will be available on March 2021 at the same price as the Apple Watch Series 3.
