FORMULA 1 ANNOUNCES EIGHT RACES STARTING JULY FOR THE F1 2020 CALENDAR

The F1 2020 season will be back on track with its revised 2020 schedule. With eight races taking place across Europe, starting from the 5th of July.

 

Following the postponement of the F1 20202 season due to the coronavirus pandemic, the new Formula 1 season commences in Austria with two successive races. After that the race will be heading to Hungary just one week later. A two-week break follows, and resumes in UK, Spain, Belgium and Italy completing the F1 2020 European start.

Following the guidelines implemented to minimise the spread of COVID-19, all F1 races will have to take place behind closed doors. The plans for the rest of the 2020 campaign are yet to be revealed as there is still uncertainty surrounding the pandemic as of the moment.

The F1 2020 British GP at Silverstone will take place on the 2nd and 9th of August, 2020, before the Spanish GP at Barcelona on te 16th of August, 2020. The eight F1 2020 European races will be completed in Belgium and Italy on the 30th of August and 6th of September respectively.
