MICROSOFT ANNOUNCES XBOX SERIES X GAMES SHOWCASE EVENT DATE: 24 JULY
EXPECT NEW LOOKS AT HALO INFINITE AND MORE
Microsoft will be holding its Xbox Series X games showcase on the 24th of July at 2AM AEST. The company is planning on unveiling games developed by its Xbox Game Studios, including the much-awaited Halo Infinite. 343 Industries briefly released a teaser of Halo Infinite a couple of weeks ago, revealing that The Banished antagonists are coming back for the next big installment in the Halo video game franchise.
There will be more than just Halo in the Xbox Series X games event. Microsoft has been steadily acquiring video game developers, and the company has a total of 15 Xbox Game Studios rigt now. Microsoft Xbox fans are now waiting to see what those studios are working on for the upcoming Xbox Series X. The company recently created a placeholder for Fable’s Twitter account, leading fans to wonder if the video game might make a return during July’s Xbox game showcase event. Microsoft also recently extended its Fable branding to cover USB chargers, headphones, portable speakers, and a lot more.
Given Microsoft teased Hellblade II during its Xbox Series X reveal last year, it’s reasonable to assume we will be able to see more from Ninja Theory about this upcoming game title. Fans a also waiting on Psychonauts 2 which is still due in 2020 from Double Fine studio, and then most likely, there woud be some hints on how Forza and Gears of War will adapt to the improved and now more powerful hardware in the new Xbox Series X console.
British studio Rare also revealed its new Everwild last November, and everyone might get a closer look at that video game during Microsoft’s games event. Xbox fans are also hoping for surprises like a new Banjo-Kazooie or Perfect Dark video game.

Microsoft has already stated that some of the company’s Xbox Game Studios will reveal new and unique gameplay, video games that are optimized for Xbox Series X, and even more brand-new game announcements.
