Everyone knows that Bulgari has an impressive collection of resorts and hotels. The luxury brand recently added to the collection and has just signed an agreement with owner and developer Gary Safady for a new luxury resort in Los Angeles. It will be opened in 2025 and will be the second property of the brand that will pop up stateside. The first is a luxury hotel that will be opening in South Beach, Miami, in 2024.

The new Bulgari luxury resort is located on 33 acres in the Santa Monica mountains. Formerly known as Retreat, it will have 58 rooms and suites. Most of them will be located in secluded bungalows, which are present across the Eastern half of the property.

The luxury resort will also give eight private residences that might be put up for sale later. They will range from 12,000 square feet to 48,000 square feet. Each of them will come with a parcel of land.


The interiors of the new Bulgari luxury resort will be spearheaded by a Milanese firm called Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. It has designed all the other Bulgari outposts in the past as well. So, you can expect the luxury resort to reflect glamour gloriously. It will have amazing amenities like a 10,000 square foot spa, a cinema, and a high-tech gym.

The property will also have the signature Bulgari Il Ristorante that is curated by acclaimed Michelin three-star chef Niko Romito. It will also have an exclusive eight-seat sushi bar. In addition, a Swiss landscaping firm ENEA will work to preserve the natural habitat around the property.
