After being in the works for years, but Nissan have finally released an official look at the production example of Italdesign’s GT-R50. The Nissan GT-R50 was revealed at Goodwood Festival of Speed backmin 2018, that GT-R is the first major update to the Nissan mainstay for almost 13 years. Working with the Italian design and engineering company to develop the much-awaited and highly-limited ride, the Nissan GT-R50 features a unique knife-like aesthetic that looks straight out of a science fiction movie.

For the vehicle’s main specs, they have utilized large turbochargers from the GT3 race car, partnered with a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine enabling the Nissan GT-R50 to generate 710 horsepower. Those are matched with a Nismo suspension system, and designed with more front air vents to complement the updated aesthetic and improve overall vehicle performance. Other modifications to the Nissan GT-R50 include a roof that has been lowered 2.1 inches, a re-imagined rear window line, a larger hood, and stretched headlights.

The Nissan GT-R50 production has officially started with a total of 50 units to be produced. Priced at $1.1 million USD (just over $1.6 million AUD), deliveries of the vehicle is planned to begin at the end of this year, with the rest of the vehicles completing the delivery early 2021.
