Watch Mark Wahlberg Fight Post Malone in Spencer Confidential

 An ex-cop seeking justice in this upcoming mystery drama

Netflix has been making the news every few weeks since a long time now. It is mostly thanks to the streaming service’s dedication to providing quality content to the audience. This time, the streamer has come up with Spencer Confidential, a film starring Mark Wahlberg, Winston Duke and Post Malone along with a bunch of talented actors.

 

Recently, Netflix released the official trailer Spencer Confidential. It makes it clear that the film is an action-comedy that is inspired by Robert B. Parker’s Wonderland, a novel from Ace Atkins, which uses the famous character of Parker.

 

The upcoming Netflix film revolves around Spenser (played by Mark Wahlberg) who is an ex-cop. He makes more trouble than solving it, and he has decided to leave Boston. Things change when two of his colleagues end up murdered, and he partners with Hawk (played by Winston Duke) and his girlfriend Cissy (Iliza Shlesinger) to help him find the culprits and bring them to justice. Post Malone, who uses his real name in the film, Austin Post, plays the role of a prison inmate. The movie also stars Alan Arkin and Bokeem Woodbine. The latter is in the role of Spenser’s (Mark Wahlberg) old boxing coach. The film is co-written by Brian Helgeland, and it is directed by Peter Berg.

 

In the trailer, Post confronts Spenser which ends in a fight and among others is full of punching, throwing and thick Boston accents. Post Malone and Mark Wahlberg (who might also star in Uncharted movie) can also be seen talking to each other in another part of the trailer. Malone says this to Wahlberg. “You’re about to walk barefoot through the gates of hell.”

 

The trailer also explains many aspects of the film. For instance, the backstory is explained when Spenser tells Hawk. “Picture this: dirty cops, drug cartels and some big politicians all working together. When I was a cop, I was trying to take these guys down, but they framed me.”

 

If the fight scene of Mark Wahlberg and Post Malone in trailer of Spenser Confidential has made you anticipate the film then you don’t have to wait long. It is expected to be released in March this year. So, only a few weeks to go.
