Kanye West’s New Yemobile BAC Mono Looks Like Batman’s Batmobile

Kanye West, who many of you might know as Ye, has acquired a new car, a BAC Mono that is christened as Yemobile, and it will surely make you think of Batman’s Batmobile. West-adjacent producer DJ Akademics unveiled the vehicle via his Instagram. On the social media platform, he introduced it as the ‘Yemobile.’

West constantly makes moves when it comes to cars. In the last few weeks of 2021, he auctioned six of his Wyoming cars for about USD 434,780. Then there were reports that Ye was selling his custom Ripsaw EV2 tank to the Diesel brothers. Now, West has added another supercar to his collection. Yemobile is a modified BAC Mono that’s a pleasure to look at.

The company that manufactured Yemobile, BAC, specializes in creating single-seater road-legal sports vehicles. The brand has just 12 dealership agreements across four continents. Hence, the cars like West recently bought are super rare.

Briggs Automotive Company had its humble beginnings in 2009, and the Mono range was introduced in 2011. The first generation of cars ended in 2020, and the second generation was introduced in 2021. So, Yemobile will likely be a Gen 2 Mono model. It will be powered by a 2.3-liter four-cylinder Mountune engine, which delivers 332 bhp.

As Yemobile is a single-seater, it features a lightweight make and an aerodynamic interior, allowing the car to go from zero to 100km/h in just 2.7 seconds. West’s new car weighs just 580 kg and is a high-performance vehicle most car lovers will swoon over.

The cost of a Mono is AUD 320,000, and the Yemobile owned by West would almost certainly be priced higher than the usual ones because Ye might have asked for modifications to suit his style. With this latest purchase, it is apparent that Ye is turning over a new chapter in his personal life as well as his style. We just don’t know where Julia is going to sit.
