007 Producer Says James Bond Will be Back After ‘No Time to Die’

After that scene of Bond in No Time to Die, fans were left quite shocked. However, now that the producer has confirmed that the British spy will be back, fans can finally get a sigh of relief.
James Bond will return.
At the end of the credits, No Time to Die teased the return of James Bond using a title card that said, “James Bond will return.” Now, the producer of 007, Barbara Broccoli, has promised that the franchise has not come to an end.
Apparently, the final portrayal of Daniel Craig in No Time to Die showed him sacrificing himself with the sole purpose of destroying the Spectre headquarters. This happened in the final minutes of the movie as it was close to the conclusion.
However, fans are wondering whether it makes sense for Bond to return after what happened in No Time to Die. Regarding this, Broccoli said at a Deadline event, “We’ll figure that one out, but he will be back. You can rest assured James Bond will be back.”
So, indeed, Bond is not going anywhere soon. Craig has played the role of the M16 agent in 5 installments now. It began with the Casino Royale in 2006 and ended with No Time to Die in 2021. So, the actor has a 15-year-old run and may not return.
But that certainly does not mean that the franchise has come to an end. Currently, the search for the next actor to play Bond is currently underway. But it is still in its very early stages. According to Broccoli, serious considerations for the next role will not be made before 2022.
Regarding this, the producer stated, “We want Daniel to have his time of celebration. Next year we’ll start thinking about the future.’
There was a time when Idris Elba was considered a suitable candidate. Many actors include Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, have also expressed their interest in succeeding Daniel Craig as Bond in the coming films. Similarly, Henry Cavill, the Witcher star, also seems to be interested.
Regarding this, he stated, “I think it would be very exciting to have a conversation with the producers. In an ideal world, I’d never had to turn anything down.”
