Arnold Schwarzenegger to Star and Executive Produce a Spy TV Series — Arnild Schwarzenegger in Terminator: Dark Fate

Arnold Schwarzenegger is heading to Netflix as the company has bagged the rights to a yet-untitled adventure which will be executive produced by the legendary action star. He will also act in it. This show will be a first for the former governor as he has never appeared in a scripted TV show yet.

The name of the show that will air on Netflix has not been decided yet. But it has been reported that the spy series will star Arnold Schwarzenegger and Monica Barbaro (who you saw in Top Gun: Maverick and will see in Top Gun 2 in 2021). They will be a father and daughter duo who will be caught in the centre of a tale that revolves around global intrigue.

The Netflix show will be created by Nick Santora, who also created Scorpion, the CBS spy drama. He will also serve as the showrunner and producer of an upcoming Jack Reacher show that will air on Amazon.

In addition to Santora and Arnold Schwarzenegger, the show will be co-produced by David Ellison, Bill Bost and Dana Goldberg for production company Skydance Television. It is a key part of the overall deal with Santora.

It must be noted here that Skydance Television produced Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator: Dark Fate that most fans loved a lot.

Arnold Schwarzenegger fans know that the actor doing a TV show is a big deal. It would have been unthinkable even ten years back. So, the fans cannot wait to see him straight for 8 hours on Netflix.

You should also know that Netflix outbid many other outlets for the series. It is another big project from the streamer that will be produced by Skydance Television as the California-based company is also producing Grace and Frankie as well as Altered Carbon for Netflix.
