Just recently, the Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae got unveiled by the Italian luxury sports car manufacturer. However, this would be the last flagship model to feature the V-12 engine. While other auto-manufacturers have switched to the hybrid designs, Automobili Lamborghini continued sticking with their symphonic V-12s. However, now the time is up!

In launching the new Aventador, the CEO and president of Automobili Lamborghini stated that the Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae “denotes the final, purest, timeless naturally aspirated production V-12 Lamborghini.”

He further referred to the Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae as “the definite Aventador concluding an extraordinary era.”

The Lamborghini Aventador was revealed back in 2011 after replacing the Murciélago. After that, two variants of the Aventador hit the market including the 2016 Aventador S and the Aventador SVJ that arrived in 2018.

The new Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae features the best of both roadster and coupe variants. It is more or less, a combination of the best features of its predecessors.

The new Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae can deliver an exceptional 574kW and 720Nm through its 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V-12 engine managed by a 7-speed single-clutch automated manual transmission.

Lamborghini quotes an impressive 2.8-second 0-100km/h sprint time, 8.7-second for a 0-200km/h run and a top speed of 355km/h.

Lamborghini’s launch control and rear-wheel steering systems are standard, while the all-wheel drive has been retuned to put more torque to the rear than before.

The uprated engine is matched by a more liberal deployment of carbon-fibre, cutting the weight of the coupe variant by 25kg to 1550kg. It also features an all-new carbon ceramic brakes can bring the vehicle down 27.7 meters per second to a full stop.

As for the driving assist electronics, the Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Attiva system does the real magic. The system continuously takes in real-time data from various sensors and optimizes the settings accordingly.

The carmaker also brought significant aerodynamic improvements to the Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae. In specific, the front bumper of the vehicle is now designed to improve the airflow and downforce for better cooling.

Currently, the luxury sports car maker has not given a lot of specific details. Though, we do know that this new car will also feature a digital dashboard and a voice-activated infotainment system.

Only 600 units of the Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae will hit the market with 250 roadsters and 350 coupes. As of yet, the Australian prices have not been revealed but one can expect them to be quite high as this is the last release of the nameplate.
