It was rumoured that every episode of the show cost about USD 10 (about AUD 13.94) million, which is equal to Game of Thrones’ final season. Henry Cavill, who plays the role of The Witcher, promoted the white wolf by sharing these lines from one of the novels on Instagram. It read: “‘It may turn out,’ said the white-haired man a moment later, ‘that their comrades or cronies may ask what befell these evil men. Tell them the Wolf bit them. The White Wolf. And add that they should keep glancing over their shoulders. One day they’ll look back and see the Wolf.'”

When Will The Witcher Season 2 Release?

The filming of the show halted in March due to the coronavirus pandemic. It has resumed a few weeks back, but still, the makers will need 7 or 8 months to finish filming. As a result, the season might not be released until the last quarter of 2021.

After The Witcher Season 2, you will likely see a third season. The fate of the show will probably depend on the success of Season 2 and 3. Netflix has also given its nod to an animated spin-off movie.
