Ana de Armas Looks Stunning as Marilyn Monroe Netflix’s Blonde Trailer

Ana de Armas transforms for Netflix’s Marilyn Monroe biopic.

The first teaser trailer of the upcoming Marilyn Monroe film, Blonde, was just released by Netflix. The film is expected to release on September 23. In the NC-17-rated flick, Golden Globe nominee Ana de Armas (No Time to Die) will be seen portraying the role of the iconic actor and singer fans have loved for so long.

The film will be a fictional take on the life of Marilyn Monroe. It is written and directed by Andrew Dominik (Chopper) and based on the Joyce Carol Oates 2000 novel of the same name. The project has been delayed for a long time now. It went into the development phase in 2012, and there were many stars connected to the film before Ana de Armas. At one point, Jessica Chastain was supposed to play Marilyn Monroe. At another, Naomi Watts was supposed to play Marilyn Monroe. In the end, de Armas was finalized.

Now, de Armas will play the lovely actor. The film’s cast also includes Adrien Brody, Bobby Cannavale, Juliane Nicholson, Casper Phillipson, and Toby Hus.

Plan B Entertainment will produce Marilyn Monroe’s film. The film producers are Jeremy Kleiner, Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, Tracey Landon, and Scott Robertson. The production started in August 2018, and the film was wrapped in July 2021. As de Armas looks stunning, fans would likely be excited to see Blonde as soon as it starts streaming on Netflix.
