Apple Reveals the Official Date for the 'California Streaming' iPhone Event
Apple

Apple has officially revealed the date for the upcoming iPhone event. It will be held on September 14, at 10 a.m. PT. It will be broadcast from Apple Park. The date was revealed by Apple’s Senior Vice President of Marketing, Greg Joswiak, who shared a small animation that confirms the date.

When you visit Apple’s official website, you will find a graphic for the September 14 event page. In the graphic, you can see a glowing Apple logo that is floating over an alpine lake. If you tap that logo, you will see some AR magic.

Tapping the logo on the iPhone event page will launch the ARKit viewer within your iOS by using your iPhone camera. If you move around the phone for some quick calibration, the AR logo will appear over your surroundings. If you zoom into it, you will enter the lake image and see the launch date. This creativity on the webpage announcing the iPhone event hints at an iPhone AR shortly.

What to Expect from the iPhone Event?

iPhone 13

You can expect four versions of the latest iPhone by Apple, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. They will all have new cameras, larger screens, and better internal components. Satellite connections are also a possibility for these devices.

Apple Watch Series 7

The smartwatch fans can also expect Apple Watch Series 7, which can be a follow-up of what the Series 6 fans are loving right now.

macOS Monterey

This announcement is expected on the software front, but nothing is confirmed yet.

MacBook Pro

Maybe Apple will also launch the new MacBook Pro, but it isn’t very likely as there was a global chip shortage issue recently that might delay this launch.
