British manufacturer of luxury sports cars and grand tourers, Aston Martin is teaming up with Bowmore Islay Single Malt Scotch for an ultra-limited batch of top-shelf whisky.

 

The Aston Martin x Bowmore’s whisky, Black Bowmore DB5 1964, takes Bowmore’s reserve Black 1964 single malt whisky and packages the deep obsidian black spirit with Aston Martin’s iconic James Bond super spycar from the same era — the DB5. The whisky distillery describes the special batch as having intense flavours of mango, passion fruit, and acacia honey combined with coffee and tobacco smoke. Marking this as a special partnership is a bottle made from half Scottish glass and half of a real Aston Martin DB5 metal piston.
