Billy Butcher and His Crew are Back in The Boys Season 2 Trailer

The violence and blood splatters amped-up the hype

Amazon released The Boys Season 2’s first trailer showcasing Karl Urban’s return as Billy Butcher, the concept of chaotic good in human form. The intriguing series based on the graphic novel from Garth Ennis and adapted by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg continues. The series also returns with familiar faces from The Boys Season 1 including Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Laz Alonso, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, Erin Moriarty, Chace Crawford, Dominique McElligott, and Jessie T. Usher. 

 

As per reports, back in August, Rogen and Goldberg had just seen the rough cut of The Boys Season 2 premiere, which Goldberg stated, “definitely better than the first season,” and added “immediately it just looks a bit better. It feels bigger. The actors all know what they’re doing.”

Rogen said, “They already have more resources for the second season and they’re adding more characters. The scope of the show organically grows as the show continues.”

 

Initially, it’s obvious we’re having more of Terror the bulldog so we could say that The Boys Season 2 is a perfect 10/10 TV series. But really, The Boys was one of the best new series not only this year, but in a long time, so the follow-up definitely has a high bar to clear. After we watched the trailer, it’s certainly going to be a wild journey, at least. There will be more superhumans, more actors, more Giancarlo Esposito, and definitely, a lot more of violence and blood splatter. The trailer actually contains 70% blood splatter. This hype train will surely get more passengers this season.
