Everything You Need To Know About The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip

Just recently, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip phone was unveiled, which is the 2nd folding phone created by Samsung. This new phone is an improved version of the previous ones, as it uses a glass screen and feels much better in the hands.

While the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip carries the feel of glass, it is not easily marked with fingernails or scratched. This is unlike the plastic screens that we have been used to until now. Moreover, this latest addition to the Galaxy line carries a stronger hinge. One benefit of this is that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip phone stays open in all positions. However, one con would be that it is much difficult to open. Like classic clamshell phones that were popular in the early 2000s, this phone will not flip open easily.

So, in case you are trying to open this phone with a single hand, you will have to put in quite some effort. In comparison to the Motorola Razr and Galaxy Fold, this phone feels very different. It has a much-refined look and does not carry any creaks. At the same time, the hinge feels very solid.

Samsung has also taken advantage of the new foldable form factor by implementing a ‘Flex Mode’, which let’s you use apps in a way that is reminiscent of a laptop. This kind of functionality seems like it would be useful for regular online multi-tasking. Well, at least in theory.

At the same time, the Samsung Galaxy S20 has also been announced. However, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip phone may out-do it in terms of sales due to the flip-phone nostalgia that it brings. Though we cannot certainly say whether this new phone performs just as good as it looks. This is because even the Motorola Razr and Galaxy Fold felt nice in the hands. However, the actual use was not as satisfying.

Revealed in an Oscars 2020 ad, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip phone features a much smaller hinge gap. Hence in terms of the looks and overall feel, it is quite sleek. On the back, this phone features two 12 MP cameras including an ultra-wide and a wide-angle camera.
