Rolls-Royce Spectre—Rolls-Royce has unveiled the world’s first “Ultra-Luxury Electric Super Coupé,” which makes you think of the petrol-powered Wraith that has been in production since 2013. Known as The Spectre Coupé, the car has much in common with the Phantom sedan and the Cullinan SUV. Read on to know more about this beauty.

The Look

The look of the new car is imposing and elegant. It shares several key characteristic Rolls-Royce features like the famous Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament and suicide doors. The car’s interior is very sleek and comes with a reasonably conventional cockpit that integrates a single screen across the dash. It flows from the gauge cluster to the centre console. There’s also an analogue clock breaking up the screen towards the passenger seat.

Only a few things give away the fact that the newly launched car is an electric car. One of them is the lack of a tailpipe.

The Performance

Spectre Coupé’s performance figures are still secret. The preliminary data suggest it’ll make 430kW/900Nm and have a 520km range. It will sprint 0-100km/h in just 4.5 seconds. This beauty will be as fast as the Ford Mustang GT, if that’s true.

A V12 engine is ideal for Spectre Coupé because it is smoother than other engines like a V8. Also, electric cars make no noise and offer their passengers and drivers an effortless and least driving experience possible.

The Plan

Rolls-Royce has also confirmed that by 2030, its entire product portfolio will be fully electric. Talking about the newly launched car, the brand’s CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös said, “This is the start of a bold new chapter for our marque, our extraordinary clients, and the luxury industry. For this reason, I believe Spectre is the most perfect product that Rolls-Royce has ever produced.”

The Price

Rolls-Royce is also giving no hint about the pricing of the car. To get an estimate, you can have a look at the Wraith, which costs AU$ 635,000. So, the Spectre Coupé will probably cost a million bucks. The first deliveries of the knockout are expected by the last quarter of 2023.
