Fans have finally gotten a look at the Snake Eyes trailer, and by the looks of it, it is worthy of attention. The story will not continue the last two films, G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra and G.I. Joe: Retaliation, but it would be a franchise reboot by using a new star cast.

According to the official trailer, the film will revolve around Henry Golding’s character and the film will also include some other prominent names like Samara Weaving, Úrsula Corberó, Peter Mensah, and Andrew Koji. It is expected to release in July this year.

The Snake Eyes trailer shows that the film will focus on the most famous ninja in G.I. Joe., Snake eyes, a black-clad silent warrior who spends considerable time handling the evil agents of Cobra. The trailer also features Storm Shadow, a long-time rival of Snake Eyes, who later joins Cobra. So, there might be some interesting battles between Storm Shadow and the G.I. Joe ninja.

The trailer is short but is offers pure adrenaline-rush for G.I. Joe fans. The action is quite fast, stylish, and impressive. Other Joe characters like Scarlett and Baroness have also made appearances. The trailer also teased the iconic visored helmet of the character you might have seen before. One of the key attractions of the film would be seeing the hero put on the costume and transform into the character that the fans love and know.

Though movie buffs are looking forward to the film and the Snake Eyes trailer seems interesting enough, it is a fact that the last two G.I. Joe films were not as satisfactory as they could have been. The previous films also received negative reviews that were not a good sign. We hope that this film will not disappoint the fans and would meet their high expectations from the character they love so much.

In other entertainment news, Zack Snyder has stated that he was “tortured” by Warner Bros over the Justice League Snyder Cut.
