Just recently, David Harbour mentioned that Stranger Things 4 will begin setting up the series’ end. The first season of Stranger Things came in 2016. And since then, the series has become quite popular on Netflix.

It all began in the small town of Hawkins, as the series progressed, the scope opened more. After season 3, an all-new setting was revealed. Now, fans know that they can expect a lot more from Stranger Things 4.

Originally, the show’s creators had planned 4 seasons. However, they revealed last year that Stranger Things 4 will not be the last season. Though, the creators are following a roadmap to tell the story properly, eventually leading it to its inevitable conclusion.

Thanks to the COVID-19, the show’s creators got plenty of time to perfect their script. Even though the internet is full of Stranger Things 4 theories, it is uncertain how the show may unfold. Though, Harbour has given some crucial hints regarding Stranger Things 4.

In an interview with Collider, according to the actor, the coming season will start setting up grounds for the end of the series. The actor has expressed his excitement regarding the new season multiple times. This gives fans more than enough reason to believe that they are in for another joyful ride.

Now that the series is moving beyond Hawkins, the stakes and expectations would be significantly higher. Along with that, some unique horror can be expected from Stranger Things 4. After all, certain new elements will be introduced next.

Harbour said:

“I mean, it’s bigger, that’s the first thing. In scope, in scale, even in the idea that we’re not in Hawkins anymore. We, locale-wise, we’re bigger. We’re introducing new stuff, but we’re also tightening and wrapping up in a certain direction to make it have a clear, clean specific, and definite ending at some point, which I can’t really talk about.”

“I can talk about Hopper. I guess I say this about a lot of seasons, but it’s my favorite season, in the sense that he’s at his purest, he’s at his most vulnerable, in a sense. He’s been, as we’ve seen, he’s in this Russian prison, so we get to reinvent him in a sense. He gets to have a rebirth from what he had become, and we’d always sort of planned this almost resurrection of you have Gandalf dies, Galdalf the Grey re-emerge, and I’m really interested in this resurgence of him. We get to explore a lot of threads in his life that have merely been hinted at that we get to see a lot more of. And there’s some real surprises that you know nothing about that will start to come out in this and play big as the series goes on.”

Since the actor did not touch on the plot even a bit, fans are quite excited to figure out what the future holds for Hawkins.

In other news, Loki episode 2 just recently streamed. Fans can now watch both the first and second episodes on Disney+. New episodes will come out weekly on Wednesdays until the finale scheduled on 14th July 2021.
