The Batman: New International Trailer Shows Riddler Unmasking Batman

“I’ve been trying to reach you… Bruce Wayne.”

The latest trailer of The Batman shows Robert Pattinson getting unmasked by the Riddler. Earlier this week, the new trailer got released online. The new teaser suggests that the Riddler will uncover the caped crusader’s identity in the movie.

We also hear him proclaiming in the trailer that he is “here to unmask the truth about this city”. So, it makes sense that he is aiming to unmask nobody else but Batman. The trailer starts with glimpses from the film with a voiceover echoing in the background.

With that, we also see some light shining on the mysterious villain, followed by footage of the chaos that the Riddler will set about Gotham. It looks like the Riddler will torment the Batman through several physical and psychological battles.

Eventually, we hear him uncovering the identity of the Batman by calling him by his real name. Fans who have been waiting for the film patiently are now more excited than ever. The Batman is going to be a psychological thriller by Matt Reeves’ that aims to explore the character in a totally unique manner.

Of course, information about the performances and the plot of the film is still limited. However, the film follows the younger days of Bruce Wayne when the Batman is still in an infant stage. Furthermore, Reeves has also confirmed that The Batman movie will focus more on the detective angle as compared with the previous entries.

Regarding this, he stated, “This movie, I think, is probably the scariest Batman that’s been done. Because the idea of what Batman’s doing – it’s scary.”

He further added, “(It’s) never been done in quite this way. It’s a detective story, it’s an action movie, and it’s a psychological thriller.”

Without a doubt, the trailer of the film gives off a dark and gothic vibe. The Batman would certainly offer a fresh experience to fans of the classic superhero. The movie stars Paul Dano, Zoe Kravitz, and Colin Farell alongside Robert Pattinson.

The Batman will hit the theatres on 4th March 2022. Until then, theories and speculations about the film will continue to flood the internet.
