The Book of Boba Fett

Boba Fett is no doubt the fan-favourite bounty hunter in the Star Wars universe. Disney has been trying to cash in on his popularity by starting a project for a while now. Though there were plans to make a standalone feature film around the character, Disney is making a TV series. The trailer of the TV series was released recently. It makes it clear that in the series, The Book of Boba Fett, which will release on December 29, Boba Fett will fight to gain control of Jabba the Hutt’s old territory on Tatooine.

The first poster for the show was released in September, and since then, some marketing promotions have been going on, but this is the first-time viewers have gotten a glimpse of the footage on Boba Fett’s story. The trailer is just two minutes long, but it establishes the series as a crime drama.

The trailer clarifies that the titular character will run things differently than the vile gangster Jabba the Hutt. The gangster ruled with the help of fear, while Boba Fett would show respect and cooperate with the associates to build long-term and fruitful relationships. As expected, not everyone likes the central character, and it is clear from the action sequences in the trailer.

The Book of Boba Fett was initially backdoor piloted by another popular series by Disney, The Mandalorian. In season 2 of the series, the character was briefly introduced. He appeared during episode 6 of Season 2, which was entitled Chapter 13: The Tragedy. It was helmed by Robert Rodriguez, the Director of the Spin-off series.
