THE PORSCHE TAYCAN IS ROLLING OUT IN AUSTRALIA IN DECEMBER THIS YEAR
Porsche

Porsche Taycan is probably one of the most anticipated electric cars of all time. Its all-electric thunder would soon be near you and guess what, it’s not very expensive. The official Australian pricing of the car has proved that the car is worth it.

The cost of Porsche Taycan starts from $191,000 plus on-road costs. This pricing is for the entry-level 4S that completes the 0-100 dash in 4 seconds flat(claimed). It is powered by a 79.2kWh Performance Battery that has an output of 320kW/640Nm and can offer up-to 390kW on over-boost. The range is claimed to be 365 kilometres, and it has a top speed of 250km per hour.

In case you want an upgrade, you can go for the middle range Porsche Taycan that costs $269,100 plus on-road costs. It buys a 0-100 time of just 3.2 seconds from 460kW and comes with up to 500kW on over-boost. The range is 420km per hour, and the 93.4kWh Performance Plus battery has a claimed output of 850Nm.

The above two models of Porsche Taycan are good, but the main highlight is Porsche Taycan Turbo S that has claimed 0-100 time of just 2.8 seconds. The price will be $339,100 plus on-road costs. Though the power output is 460 kW and the top speed is 260km per hour, it has a maximum torque of 1050Nm, and the range is just 405km.

All three variants of the Porsche Taycan have an individual set of brakes. The Porsche Taycan is the first electric vehicle that will utilize a 400-volt system. It is one of the reasons why there were 30,000 pre-orders Porsche Taycan in December last year.
