Hold your breath and get ready to be terrified as Darkseid Is here. Yes, the scary villain who appears in DC comics will soon be on your screens. Only a few weeks after confirming that his Justice League will be released soon, Zack Snyder has shared a teaser glimpse of the extended cut of his film. And it has DC’s Omega badass, Darkseid.
The main villain in Zack Snyder’s Justice League won’t be Steppenwolf; it will be the New God Darkseid. In the clip, we can see Wonder Woman or Diana of Themiscyra exploring an ancient ruin, and that’s when she confronts a mural of the apocalyptic menace, Darkseid. Then the scene cuts to an extended shot of one of DC’s New Gods at the head of his army (which was a shot previously shared by Snyder). Those of you who haven’t read the comics can think of Darkseid as the Thanos equivalent when it comes to popular villains.

More details of Zack Snyder’s version of the Justice League will be available during the Warner Bros.’ DC Fandome online event that is scheduled for this August. Zack Snyder has previously confirmed that the original cut of Justice League will be released on HBO Max in 2021. He announced it during a live Q&A session after a virtual screening of Man of Steel (starring Henry Cavill). Aussies might be able to watch the Justice League Snyder Cut via Foxtel or Binge as HBO Max content will be exclusively available in the country through those platforms.
Any news of Zack Snyder’s Justice League is a big deal for DC fans who have been requesting for the film’s release for years now. A Change.org petition regarding the same has about 200,000 supporters. It can tell anyone how much the fans want to see the film, which they think would be better than the Justice League film that has already been released.
