Elon Musk is finally relaunching Twitter Blue.

The world of Twitter has been changing so much since the acquisition by Elon Musk that it’s hard to keep up with all the changes. Now, three important changes are coming up. First, Twitter Blue will be relaunched, and second, 4,000-character tweets will be coming up. Also, there has been word about the selling of office equipment.

Twitter Blue

Twitter Blue has been officially relaunched. For those unaware, it is a subscription service that gives users access to a checkmark, NFT profile pictures, Tweet editing, and even 1080p video uploads.

Some new features have also been added to Twitter Blue. They are coming soon. The users get the ability to post longer videos, appear at the top of replies, mentions, and search results and see half the ads.

At the moment, users can only subscribe if they have an iPhone. The Twitter page does mention that it will change soon. The per-month cost of the subscription will be USD 11.99. The Australian pricing is yet to be confirmed. On other platforms, the service might cost $US8 per month.

 Extending the Character Limit

Elon Musk has also confirmed that tweets’ character limit is increasing from 280 to 4,000 characters. With this change, users can expect Twitter feed to resemble Reddit. Some users opine that too many characters might make the website unbearable.

The discussion regarding this started when a user asked Musk, “Elon is it true that Twitter is set to increase the characters from 280 to 4000?” To this, Musk replied, “Yes.”

The Office Fire Sale Will be Held Soon

In addition to increasing the character limit and changing Twitter Blue, Elon Musk also did another notable thing. He has announced that the social media platform company will have an office fire sale. This unique sale will include chairs, espresso machines, and computers. Interestingly, the kitchen sink he brought on his first day would be staying. For how long? Musk only knows. The auction will start on 17 January 2023. It will be interesting to see how many people turn up for the event.
