Apple is Already Working on the Much-Anticipated Foldable iPhone
The two foldable iPhone prototypes recently passed Apple’s internal durability tests
It seems like Apple has not given up on its plan to release a couple of foldable iPhone models, even if they will be arriving approximately five years after news of their concepts was first reported.
According to reliable source,
, two folding iPhone designs have passed their durability tests at the Foxconn factory in Shenzhen, China. One of the foldable iPhones was apparently similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip and the other design features two screens connected by a hinge, which might alleviate any worries about the creasing or cracking display issue with repeated use. (In case you were worried,
according to tech analyst Jon Prosser
, the hinged model doesn’t mean the foldable iPhone looks like two different screens connected together but rather, when extended the display is apparently seamless.)
