The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has been launched, and it has some amazing features. The Fold 2 has Ultra Thin Glass that is flexible and has a layer of plastic over it. It has a 7.6-inch AMOLED display and the Infinity-O technology that has reduced the bezels by 27 percent. It also has a 120Hz refresh rate to ensure smoother scrolling and graphics.
The new Fold 2 model has a factory-installed screen protector. The front of the device has a 6.2-inch HD+ Super AMOLED cover display that is made of Corning’s new Gorilla Glass Victus. It can survive drops from up to 6.5 feet onto hard surfaces. This device also has a free-standing hinge that will allow a user to prop the phone and make video calls or take selfies hands-free.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is available in Mystic Black or Mystic Bronze colours only. But the users will get to choose from different hinge colour options like gold, red, silver, or blue. There will also be a Thom Browne designer edition with navy, red and white stripes. That edition would be more expensive not just because of colours but also because a user will get Galaxy Buds Live, Galaxy Watch 3 and several other accessories with it. The size of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is the same as the original Fold when folded and unfolded.
The latest smartphone has a Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 865+ processor that comes with 5G connectivity. It also supports mmWave and slower sub-6 5G. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has 12GB of RAM and 256GB internal memory. To help a user enjoy the device more for hours, it has a 4500 mAh dual battery. It is also compatible with Samsung’s Wireless PowerShare feature. So, a user can charge other devices by using the back. The cameras of this new foldable mobile device are slightly downgraded as compared to Samsung Galaxy Note 20 or the S20 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 will be available for pre-order from September 9 from the online store of the company. It will cost AUD 2,999 and will be on sale from September 25.
