All the Details You Need to Know About iPhone 12 Launch in Australia
Apple

After a few long months of waiting, the fans got to enjoy the Apple iPhone 12’s launch, even though it was virtual and live-streamed due to the current coronavirus pandemic. Here is all you need to know about iPhone 12 launch in Australia.

The event kicked off with the song “Good Day for Dreaming” by Ruelle and Tim Cook at the forefront. Before launching the iPhone 12, the executives of the company shared details on the new HomePod Mini.

After that, iPhones, in general, were praised, and it was highlighted that they lead to customer satisfaction. They are easy to use, keep people informed and entertained and enhance the photography experience while protecting a user’s security. What makes iPhone 12 special are the launch of 5G technology that enhances the performance levels and MagSafe for iPhone that can snap on the back of the iPhone and make charging a hassle-free experience.

Key Aspects

As many people had guessed, iPhone 12 has many variations, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. The entire range not just has 5G but also has a smart data mode. It means that the devices will automatically drop back to 4G if there is a need to save battery. The design has also changed this time. Apple has aimed at a flatter look and let go of the curved edges. Most devices also have better screen real estate and are slimmer and lighter than in previous years.

The iPhone 12 range also has a new Ceramic Shield tech which has been co-developed with Gorilla Glass to ensure that it is tougher and more drop resistant. What makes it exceptional under the hood is the latest A14 Bionic chip from Apple that improves the performance by 50 per cent as it has 70 per cent faster machine learning capabilities and 40 per cent more transistors. The night mode photography feature is also extraordinary.

The rumours regarding wired headphones and power adaptors were true. Adapters are being removed to keep in line with the company’s carbon-neutral 2030 policy. Users will still get a power cable that will not be a lightning cable but instead a new USB-C to lightning cable.
