Just when people thought Rolls-Royce Cullinan wouldn’t get more imposing, the company has rolled out Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge. With this revelation, Rolls-Royce Cullinan has become the first model on the “Architecture of Luxury” platform that has received the Black Badge treatment.

Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge will include increased outputs from the engine. The 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12 of the company has been boosted to 600PS (441KW) and an amazing 900Nm. Though the company hasn’t shared that the increased output would mean improvement in acceleration or not, it has shared this. “[the] Black Badge Cullinan benefits from a bespoke transmission and throttle treatment that creates a sense of urgency without ever undermining its Rolls-Royce peerage”.

Talking more about Rolls-Royce Cullinan, the high-end carmaker said “The drive-train, ZF 8-speed gear box and both front and rear steered axles work collaboratively to adjust the levels of engagement depending on throttle and steering inputs. Changes to suspension components and settings add to the suite of dynamic technologies that ensure an appropriate balance between dynamism and refinement. The result is an extremely well-mannered tourer at low speeds and a vivid driver’s device when pressed.”

The exterior has a lot of black chrome and darkened accents. It also has coloured brake callipers and a set of 22-inch forged alloy wheels. Some press images shared show bright yellow highlights inside and out. Part of the cabin is also adorned with Forge yellow leather. It extends to Viewing Suite chairs which can pop out of the luggage area.

Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge also comes with glossy technical carbon veneer that can be seen on the rear tray tables, door ornamentation and the instrument panel. The middle seat of the second row has an infinity symbol which reflects the “unrelenting pursuit of power” of the Black Badge.

The Black Badge Cullinan also has 22-inch wheels that are finished in a darkened silver-and-black two-tone finish. The wheels wrap around giant rotors clamped down on by red brake callipers. It is a first for Rolls-Royce.

Though the company is anticipating that Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge customers would prefer the vehicle in black only, it will also offer different exterior paint and trim options.
