Amazing Stories on Apple TV Plus – The Trailer is Intriguing
A reboot of Steven Spielberg’s iconic TV series
Amazing Stories was one of the most intriguing TV series that ran for two seasons from 1985 to 1987. Now, another version of the series is planned by Apple TV Plus. It will be executive produced by Steven Spielberg and will tell 5 unique tales. All of them would be fantastical in nature.
The showrunners are Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis. The cast of the new Amazing Stories includes Victoria Pedretti, Dylan O’Brien, Josh Holloway, Kerry Biché, Sasha Alexander, Edward Burns, and Austin Stowell. Some performances of late Robert Forster are also there. It is directed by Sylvain White, Chris Long, Mark Mylod, Michael Dinner, and Susanna Fogel.
Apple released the trailer of Amazing Stories on Monday. It’s surely an attempt to keep the audience from showing too much love to competitors like Netflix and Disney Plus. As expected, the trailer has some supernatural elements. One can also hear the original theme of John Williams. Sadly, the trailer didn’t unveil many plot details.
The Amazing Stories trailer gives a glimpse of several fantastical mini-adventures, and all of them have heavy Amblin vibes. Like the predecessor, this time also Amazing Stories will tell standalone genre tales across five individual episodes. The episodes will feature everything from heroic grandfathers to some amazing superpowers.
This version of Amazing Stories has been in the works for a couple of months now. The news of the deal struck by Apple for this show first arrived in October 2019. Spielberg appeared in an introduction trailer for Apple TV Plus when the streaming service was announced in March 2019. The fans have been waiting for a glimpse of the series for a while now. It seems that the wait was worth it as the trailer is loaded with things to look forward to, be it excellent direction or unbelievable characters.
Amazing Stories will be released on Apple TV Plus on March 6. So, the trailer has been released in time to keep the excitement going and to make people look forward to the series.
