An Extremely Rare Supreme Box Logo Tee was Sold for $52,000 USD

An ultra rare Supreme box logo shirt was sold for $52,000 USD (approxiamately $71,000 AUD) at auction this week. The Supreme shirt was a one-off, friends and family sample, estimates put the tee to be from either 2006 or 2007. It features a white t-shirt base with a colorful tie-dye print and the iconic red Supreme box logo on the chest.

 

Emerging auction site Hyp_ hosted the event, the auction attracted bidders like Lil Keed (who bid $30,000 USD) and Charlie Shuffler, but in the end renowned Supreme collector @supgrails was the highest bidder.

 

With other rare streetwear items, like the game-worn Air Jordans and other high-priced articles on the resell and auction market right now, it is not a surprise that an extremely rare Supreme item would fetch over $50k USD.
