The next-gen of music is already here, as the new Apple Music technology will be out in June this year. The technology will be available for existing subscribers right away without any extra chances. Just recently, Apple stated that the Apple Music is set to feature lossless spatial audio.

The New Features of Apple Music

The technology behind it is Dolby Atmos. This new powerful technology makes it possible for listeners to experience multi-dimensional sound. Hence, it gives one a more immersive feel with a much more enhanced experience.

Right at the launch, subscribers of Apple Music will have access to thousands of tracks that feature spatial audio. Many of these tracks will come from some of the most notable names in the world of music.

Along with that, Apple Music is also working with labels and musicians to create new spatial audio releases. According to the company, this will help encourage and motivate the labels to make music that supports spatial audio. After all, this could become one of the major selling points for Apple.

Dolby Atmos is considered the most advanced spatial audio technology to date. It adds a lot of immersion by giving you a sense of receiving sound from all directions.

According to the current information, Apple Music will auto-play tracks that support Dolby Atmos on all beats and AirPods that have a W1 or H1 chip. Along with that, the stock speakers in the latest versions of Mac, iPad, and iPhone will also support it.

Regarding this upgrade, Kevin Yeaman, the CEO of Dolby Laboratories stated, “Today marks a new music experience transforming how music is created by artists and enjoyed by their fans… we are working with Apple Music to make Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos widely available to all musicians and anyone who loves music.”

In other news, Elon Musk has recently been talking a lot about Bitcoin and Dogecoin. It is funny how a single-word tweet from the self-proclaimed techno king could spark a sell-off of Bitcoins with increased demand for other currencies.
