Drake Gifts His Rec. Basketball League Team Championship Rings
They’re crafted by Jason of Beverly Hills
For Drake, all championships must be celebrated. Just recently, the Canadian rapper gifted the players from his Recreational Basketball team champion rings studded with 20 carats of diamonds. Each of these rings is approximately worth US$50,000 (AU$64000).
Indeed, nobody would have seen such a trophy before. According to Jason of Beverly Hills, these rings feature top-notch diamonds that are studded on a gold base. Furthermore, the top part reveals the team’s name while the ring’s side contains the number of every player.
It is not surprising that Drake has chosen Jason of Beverly Hills to design the rings. The Beverly Hills-based jeweler has been his favorite. The jeweler has been making rings for championship squads since 2009. These include the Gold State Warriors (2015, 2017, 2018) and Loss Angeles Lakers (2009, 2010, 2020).
Regarding the current ring, Jason Arasheben from Jason of Beverly Hills stated, “Drake had a clear vision of what he wanted, and we worked well together to make that happen.”
He further added, “I enjoy the challenge of telling the story of the season and incorporating everything into the design and onto a ring, while still using as many diamonds as possible”.
This is not the first championship ring that Drake has ordered from Jason of Beverly Hills. Back in 2019, the Canadian rapper ordered commissioned a ring worth $150,000 from the Jason of Beverly Hills. This was after the Toronto Raptors won the 2019 NBA Finals.
Though, Drake had greater involvement in the design of the current ring which he has awarded to his Rec Basketball team players. Hence, the ring turned out to be just like he had expected.

Well, Drake is quite known for bespoke luxury. Previously, he customized his Rolls-Royce Cullinan in partnership with Chrome Hearts, a luxury fashion brand. Chrome Hearts takes heavy inspiration from rock music and reflects it in its designs.
Though, people had mixed opinions regarding the interior of his Rolls-Royce. While some considered it to be a work of art, others referred to it as an “assault” on social media. However, Drake must be happy for as long as it suits his aesthetics.
