The Much-Awaited 2022 Lexus ES Will Arrive in Australia By August 2021

Featuring the ES 250 engine, which is a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine

The 2022 Lexus ES will now come in a petrol engine model that is far more affordable. This well-awaited vehicle will be available in Australia by the August of 2021. However, no details regarding the price of the Lexus ES have been revealed yet.

The car features the ES 250 engine, which is a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine. It can send 243 Nm and 152 kW with the help of an 8-speed auto transmission to wheels on the front. In comparison, the ES 300h hybrid features a petrol engine that drives an electric motor capable of delivering 300 Nm and 150 kW.

Both the new 2022 Lexus ES variants will hit the markets with “F Sport”, “F Sport with Enhancement Pack”, “Luxury with Enhancement pack”, and “Luxury” packs. At the same time, the ES 300h will also offer a “Sports Luxury” trim.

The interior of the 2022 Lexus ES is also quite sleek. It features a 12.3 inches infotainment touchscreen. Though, the reliance on the touchpad controller has now been reduced. Still, it remains to complement the screen and to increase the functionality.

Another notable feature in the ES models is their advanced automated safety. These include emergency braking, steering assist, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, and forward-collision warning.

At the same time, the sports luxury, and ES F Sport variants of the 2022 Lexus ES will now feature an all-new LED headlights system. Named as the “BladeScan”, a spinning blade mirror in the car shields different parts of the road in the front. This helps prevent blinding the traffic.

Furthermore, the 2022 Lexus ES models will now feature two new colors including the “Sonic Chrome” and “Sonic Iridium”. On the other hand, the entire range features a hazel interior. Though, the “Luxury with Enhancement Pack” and “Sports Luxury” variants on the ES 300h will also feature a Mauve interior. Details regarding the pricing of the variants will be revealed in the coming months.
