Elon Musk likes to create a scene. This time, the entrepreneur has posted a video of himself in which he can be seen carrying a sink into Twitter’s headquarters. It raised questions regarding the fate of the planned takeover, whose deadline is Friday.

Though Musk had earlier tried to back out of the deal but due to pressure, he chose to move forward with it just a few weeks before a court trial. In the tweet, the Tesla CEO wrote, “Entering Twitter HQ – let that sink in!”

In business parlance, “kitchen sinking” usually means taking radical action at a company. It is yet unclear whether that’s what he meant. Musk also changed his bio to read “chief twit.” Though he visited the social media platform’s office, it is not clear whether he actually met the executives or not.

Previously, he had stated that Twitter needs significant changes. A report also shared that he is planning some huge job cuts. The deal must be completed by October 28, or Elon will have to face trial regarding the contract.

During a recent Tesla earnings call, he stated, “I’m excited about the Twitter situation.” He added, “I think it’s an asset that has just sort of languished for a long time but has incredible potential, although obviously myself and the other investors are overpaying for Twitter right now.”

All his actions make it quite clear that the founder of The Boring Company wants to complete the deal before the deadline. He even laughed and smiled while entering the headquarters of the social media site.

Musk will have to work hard to get cosy with the employees at his new company. Apparently, Twitter employees are not happy to know that the headcount would be dramatically reduced after the deal. Some employees are also not happy that there are plans to bring back banned accounts like the account of Former US President Donald Trump.

It has been rumoured that Musk will talk to his new company’s employees on Friday and share his plans for the future. It might be a good place to know more about X, the app for everything he wants to transform Twitter into. Stay Tuned!
