Elon Musk is recruiting talents to work for Tesla, and Musk doesn’t care if you finished high school or not.

SpaceX’s CEO said Sunday that he’s looking to hire people for Tesla’s artificial intelligence department. “Join AI at Tesla!” he tweeted. The AI team “reports directly to me & we meet/email/text almost every day.”

When an eager Twitter user replied to one of Elon Musk’s tweets about the job opening,  the engineer and tech billionaire responded that they wouldn’t require a specific degree to work in Tesla’s artificial intelligence team.

“A PhD is definitely not required,” he on a social media post. He then added that he doesn’t “care if you even graduated high school,” but rather wants talented people who possess and demonstrate a “deep understanding” of artificial intelligence.

He stated that while “educational background is irrelevant,” the applicant that wishes to work with Tesla must take and pass a “hardcore” coding examination. So the application is going to be quite demanding, but at least you have a shot to work with Elon Musk without burying yourself with a massive student loan debt.

Elon Musk has stated his views on the uselessness of an educational degree before. “There’s no need even to have a college degree at all, or even high school,” he mentioned in an interview back in 2014. “If somebody graduated from a great university, that may be an indication that they will be capable of great things, but it’s not necessarily the case. If you look at, say, people like Bill Gates or Larry Ellison, Steve Jobs, these guys didn’t graduate from college, but if you had a chance to hire them, of course, that would be a good idea.”
