The first Eternals trailer is out, revealing the first look at the ancient superhero costumes. The movie is based on the Eternals comics, which revolves around a group of ancient celestial superheroes who have been present on Earth for 7000 years. However, they all unite to protect it from chaos.

The director of this movie, Chloé Zhao has won the 2020 Best Picture Academy Award for Nomadland. Of course, since Eternals is a team of celestial superheroes, every character is equally important. Hence, Marvel Studios has taken several A-listers on board.

The Eternals trailer and other reveals give us the first look at Angelina Jolie’s Thena, Richard Madden’s Ikaris, Salma Hayek’s Ajak, Brian Tyree Henry’s Phastos, and Kumail Nanjiani’s Kingo. Other characters include Lia McHugh’s Sprite, Don Lee’s Gilgamesh, and Lauren Ridloff’s Makkari.

Some starts that were not announced before but are revealed in the Eternals trailer include Berry Keoghan’s Druig, Gemma Chan’s Sersi, and Kit Harington’s Dane Whitman.

The Eternals trailer follows the footage that was previously released in the MCU Phase 4 teasers. This trailer includes new footage and gives us a look at all the superheroes. Hints about the movie’s plot are also present in the Eternals trailer. But of course, it is not too specific.

Overall, the Eternals trailer simply reveals the look and feel that the movie will offer. We can see several real-life locations, which makes the movie feel like home. But of course, just like all other Marvel movies, the Eternals trailer also shows the widespread use of special CGIs.

Based on what the Eternals trailer portrays, this team of superheroes has kept an eye on the Avengers from the shadows. However, the Avengers superheroes have not seen the ancient celestial heroes out in the open. Nevertheless, based on the first look of the trailer, the movie seems quite promising.

In other news, Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead is now streaming on Netflix. Critics say it is a fun zombie movie, albeit too lengthy for everyone’s taste. Still, it offers some stunning visuals and feels of Las Vegas becoming a complete ghost town ridden with zombies.
