Four Pillars is Now Officially the World's Best Gin Distillery
Four Pillars

Launched back in 2013, Four Pillars is an Australian gin producer that has been serving the nation really well. The widely popular Bloody Shiraz Gin along with barrel-aged gins, and the Christmas-themed tipple are among the company’s most notable products. Now, it has gone one step further after winning the title of that world’s best gin.

So the next time you pour a Four Pillars drink in a vine glass, you would actually be sipping the world’s best gin. Based in Yarra valley, the distillery earned this title in the International Wine and Spirits Competition this year.

2019 marked the half century anniversary of the famed event, where Four Pillars (now the world’s best gin) received the title in London, on 28th November. And it is important to note that it is not a small competition. Rather, it is the largest international competition of wine, which received 3000+ entries this year.

It is not surprising to see such a large number of entries in the competition. After all, alcoholic drinks like wine and gin are consumed all over the globe. In fact, at some parties and events, expensive wine is considered to be a reflection of class and style. This is why the iconic James Bond also carries a Martini glass with great style in the movies.

Now the world’s best gin, Four Pillars indeed has an impressive collection of gins that include the Spiced Negroni Gin, Navy Strength Gin, and Rare Dry Gin. Since it is the first distillery based in Australia that has bagged this award, it is now worth a try! Perhaps, look for some easy cocktail recipes and treat yourself with a mix of different Four Pillars gins.

Nevertheless, since Four Pillars has bagged the world’s best gin award in such a short period of time, it looks like the distillery has big plans ahead! After all, it was founded just 6 years ago by Cameron Mackenzie, Matt Jones, and Stuart Gregor. Apart from this prize, the distillery has also bagged a range of other awards. Such a rapid growth in a short span of time is indeed quite impressive.
