Here’s Why Everyone is Talking About Tiger King on Netflix

As a result, content providers like Netflix are seeing higher rankings that they imagined. One of the most talked-about series on Netflix is Tiger King. Why is it so important and why everyone (even Cardi B) is talking about the true-crime docuseries? Read on to know.
Tiger King released on Match 2020 on Netflix. As per Rotten Tomatoes, it now ranks as the most popular current TV shows. It has 96% audience score and 97% critic’s ratings. It is even better than USA’s The Sinner (Season 3), Queen of the South (Season 4) and Netflix’s own Ozark (Season 3).
Though Netflix rarely shares its own rankings, the company has claimed that Tiger King among the most-watched title in the US for March 29. It has been in the top ten for the past week. It is the most-watched among overall entertainment and TV shows.
For those who haven’t seen it yet, Tiger King is about filmmakers Rebecca Chaiklin and Eric Goode exploring the world of big cat owners. The focus in on the proprietor of Oklahoma roadside zoo Joe Exotic. Joe is termed as a “mulleted, gun-toting polygamist and country-western singer,” according to Netflix’s description of the docuseries.
Things turn ugly when Carole Baskin, an animal activist, tries to shut down the breeders of big cats. It leads to Exotic’s arrest. Each episode of Tiger King ends on a cliff-hanger so a viewer can rarely quit watching the series after any of the seven episodes ends. Each episode lasts for 45 minutes.
As a viewer, you will be disturbed by the scenes showing animal abuse in Tiger King. For instance, you’ll feel it when kittens are separated from their mothers and passed around by people so that they can click selfies. Everyone perpetrates the crime happening, be it the zookeepers, the volunteers and even the paying customers. So, be ready to feel some guilt.

Cardi B even started a series of tweets in which she shared her views on everything like getting distracted while watching the show to making a tongue in cheek declaration in which she said she stans Joe Exotic.
