Impossible Foods Producing Plant-based Pork and Sausage

Impossible Foods is proving its name is worthy by launching products that everyone once thought unreal. Last year, it launched the plant-based Impossible Burger 2.0 that grabbed a lot of eyeballs at CES 2019. Now, the company has launched two more meat substitutes, Impossible Sausage and Impossible Pork.

In 2012, pork was quite popular as it made up for over 36% of meat intake of the world. United Nations shared the data. This number would have only increased with time. Pork is the most eaten meat in the world and is particularly famous in countries with large populations like China. So, the launch of Impossible Pork is a vital step in the plans of global expansion that might be crafted by Impossible Foods.

Impossible Foods’ pork and sausage are gluten-free and are also free of antibiotics and animal hormones. They are designed for Kosher and Halal certification as well. The main ingredient of Impossible Foods pork and sausage is soy. Both of them also contain Heme, a genetically engineered yeast that ensures Impossible meat substitutes resemble real meat in taste and look.

People who chase fitness and read up on stuff like how to stay fit after 40 or how intermittent fasting can help prevent diseases must try the Impossible meat once. The experience is unusual, and the taste isn’t bad.

Some people might have tasted the Impossible Sausage as a pizza topping. It was available at some Little Caesars restaurants in the U.S.

People who are in Lansing, Michigan, Savannah, Georgia, Springfield, Illinois, Albuquerque, New Mexico and Montgomery, Alabama, will be able to try the Impossible Sausage from January 13 at any of the 139 Burger King restaurants. They have to order the a limited-time Impossible Croissan’wich – a breakfast sandwich.

It isn’t the first time Burger King and Impossible Foods have partnered up. They had a lot of success with Impossible Whopper that was once available in only 59 Burger King locations and then expanded to be available at 7,000 stores in four months.

A few lucky people will be able to taste the Impossible sausage and Pork at CES 2020. Only then it will be decided whether Impossible Foods has created perfect meat substitutes or not. Let the taste buds be the judge!
