The iPhone 13 will be launching much earlier as compared to its predecessor, which suggests that the production has started early on.

According to the reports, each of the iPhone 13 models will feature massive rear cameras.

These cameras will also feature the game-changing technology, VCM (voice coil motors). Previously, this technology was reserved only for the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

 

Apple representatives have stated, “All new iPhones will feature [the VCM] function, adding that the makers have been told to raise capacity by 30-40% to meet strong demand for iPhones.”

But should you be excited about that? The VCM technology is not something new. However, it would be a game-changer if it becomes available on each iPhone 13 model. This would allow sensor-shift stabilization, which is something only available on DSLR cameras.

Regarding this feature, Apple further stated, “This is the first time it’s been adapted for iPhone. Whether you are shooting video of your kids as you chase them around the park or holding your iPhone out the window on a bumpy road, you’ll get more precise stabilization than ever.”

 

According to the data, the sensor-shift stabilization reacts up to 5k times in one second. This would be 5 times faster as compared with the stabilization in the predecessors. This feature in the iPhone 13 will also massively improve low-light photography and noise in the photographs.

Other serious upgrades in the iPhone 13 include next-gen 5G chips, better power, and beamforming mics. However, the beamforming mics will only be featured in the Pro models.

 

At the same time, the notch on the iPhone 13 is going to be 20% smaller as compared with the iPhone 12. This is particularly because the size of the VCSEL sensor for Face ID has been reduced by 40%.

Interestingly, the new iPhone 13 will also be available in a pink color option that was not available before.

 

In other news, Nintendo has finally decided to release an upgraded Nintendo Switch model, expected to release this year. The new device will be much more powerful. With that, it shall mark the arrival of several new and old remastered titles.
