Jacob & Co.’s New Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon has a Supercar Engine Inside

One of the most popular watchmakers from New York, Jacob & Co. just released another fascinating timepiece. This time, the new watch is inspired by the Bugatti Chiron, which is known for its high performance and incredible power.

 

Just like all other luxury items, only a limited number of these Bugatti Chiron watches are available. As a product of the partnership between Bugatti and Jacob & Co., this watch is perfect for people who are a fan of both these luxury brands.

Like the previous models, this new watch features a look of the W16-cylinder that is found in the Bugatti Chiron. With that, Jacob & Co. watches are specifically known for their unmatched finishing and great attention to detail. The same can be seen in this new tourbillon.

 

Furthermore, this Bugatti Chiron watch includes 190 white diamonds, 109 black sapphires, and 42 orange sapphires. All these are encased in a case made of 18K white gold.

According to Jacob & Co., advanced technology along with some novel techniques were used to properly set the rare stones together. Apart from the gems, elements inspired by the Bugatti Chiron include the flowing lines on the case and several Bugatti logos.

 

Like the Bugatti Chiron, this watch by Jacob & Co. also features complex engineering along with great craftsmanship. This watch reflects 16 very tiny pistons and a steel crankshaft that moves periodically like regular mills.

Though, it shows two turbochargers only rather than the four that are found in a Chiron. That could simply be a design constraint but does not in any way, limit the watch. Regardless of that, the watch looks quite fascinating.

Another notable aspect of the watch is its 60 hours power reserve, which truly sets it apart from other models.
