Aside from the recent Gap YEEZY partnership news, Kanye West reveals for another big surprise, revealing his 2020 presidential run.
Kanye West celebrated the Fourth of July by officially announcing his bid to become the President of the United States on Twitter. “We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States! Finishing off his message with an American flag emoji and the hashtag #2020VISION.”
Shortly after Kanye West’s presidential run announcement, the news took over the headlines with the CEO of SpaceX, Elon Musk, endorsing Kanye’s decision tweeting that he has his “full support!” But many are stating that it is too late to get on the ballot as a running independent candidate in many states in the US making this an issue for Kanye West’s presidential run. It is currently unclear if Kanye’s “official” presidential bid will push through.
