The National Geographic channel has always helped connect the adventure seekers to the hidden gems of the planet earth. Now, the brand is helping people add luxury to their Arctic expedition thanks to a luxury cruise ship that uses state-of-the-art technology and offers countless creature comforts.

The new cruise ship is called the Resolution, and it is owned and operated by Lindblad Expeditions. National Geographic has built it for the purpose of offering comfortable polar exploration. It features innovative technology that allows people to experience unique stuff when the ship begins its first itinerary this November 17.

The cruise ship will also have a Polar Class 5 classification, a patented X-bow design, and can accommodate up to 126 guests at a time. The National Geographic’s ship also has 69 cabins, each of which has large exterior windows or balconies, Wi-Fi, private bathrooms, and a command centre that has device docks and tablets.

Resolution has five decks that have everything a person needs for a luxurious journey. It also has a gym, a bar, an outdoor infinity-edge pool, a yoga studio, a sauna, and a hot tub. National Geographic has also added a library, a photo workshop, and state-of-the-art screening facilities that can help keep the guests occupied. The cruise ship also has two restaurants that focus on regionally sourced menus. You can also choose a special chef’s table that has a more intimate group dining option.

Some other services added by National Geographic are the services of a wellness specialist, a full-time doctor, an internet café, and a laundry service. You can also get the services of a National Geographic photographer and a video chronicler who can capture every precious moment.

National Geographic has also added several off-board activities. A few such activities available on this cruise ship are snowshoes, skis, landing craft, and undersea equipment. The cruise ship will start its 24-day journey on November 17 this year. A shorter trip will also be available in December and January.
