No, Xbox Series X is Not as Big as a Fridge - Here’s Proof!
Xbox Series X – Microsoft

Gamers have a lot to look forward to these days as technology is enhancing the gaming experience every day. After the launch of Google Stadia, gaming enthusiasts expected something awesome from Microsoft. Honestly, Xbox Series X came as a bit of a surprise (not a pleasing one) as the design of the console was compared to a fridge by many people.

As expected, Microsoft handled the comparison smartly and released an image via Twitter which showed that though Xbox Series X might look like a fridge, it is far smaller in size. When placed vertically, Xbox Series X has a rectangular shape that resembles the usual boxy outline of a refrigerator. Even the disk drive might make you think of a door handle of a fridge.

In the same Tweet, Microsoft mentioned that the height of the mock-up fridge was 70 inches while the Xbox Series X is only 11.85 inches tall. So, Microsoft has won this round.

Still, even Microsoft can’t deny that Xbox Series X is quite huge when it comes to other gaming consoles. PS4 Pro is 2.17 inches while standing vertically while Xbox Series X is 2.4 inches. As there is no word on the measurements of PlayStation 5 by Sony, Xbox Series X can’t be compared with that.

In addition to a fridge, the Xbox Series X has also been compared to a trash can, a bazooka and even a Skyscraper.

No matter what it might look like, the ninth-generation gaming console by Microsoft will be a big one and might be as big as a home console. Its specs are quite impressive and maybe the reason for its big size.
